What Is The Official Language Of India?

India does not have one single national language. The Government of India uses Hindi and English for official work. Many people across the country speak Hindi, and many others speak English in daily life. People in southern states speak their own regional languages, such as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Travele find English very helpful while moving around India. Road signs, airport boards, and train station displays mostly use English. So, visitors can travel comfortably even if they do not speak Hindi.
